Rivers flow through the Bible, making glad the city, turning the desert into fertile ground. Water flows through us too, welling up to springs of living water. Rivers map our lives, beginning at the source and travelling through many different landscapes, sometimes gently meandering, at other times tossed over rapids. This retreat draws on Scripture and other writing, images, poetry and the natural world to deepen our understanding of ourselves and our journeys, and our relationship to the Source of all life.
This is a complete retreat package to use in whatever way is helpful to you, during a dedicated time away on retreat, or at home during regular quiet times. There is an audio reflection for each of the themes, and a collection of other reflective material. When you order, you will receive a link to the audio material and you can choose to receive the written material by email as a PDF or by post as a printed booklet. The “written” material includes transcripts of the audio reflections and a collection of other relevant material to dip into on your journey.
